It's equivalent to two 27" 1440p monitors next to each other. It's very useful for productivity.

For anyone getting it and running Windows, I highly recommend the Fancy Zones Microsoft Power Toys app.
The G9 series have a ton of problems with developing lines down the middle. Many other problems too widely reported on Reddit. My coworker went through THREE of them before the warranty ran out, and now he's stuck with a monitor with a fat line down the center.

I'm not sure which models of G9 have problems or if they all do, but buyers, please do research before buying.
You can think about it, but don't do it. Been here, done this, regret every single second I owned it. Plus Samsung revealed their true colors in my ownership of this monitor. Truly one of the worst companies on the planet to deal with if you have an issue. I'll never buy another Samsung product again thanks to this experience, and I was a huge fan of their phones.

Pro tip: for the love of whatever the hell you worship, do NOT strip one of the four ridiculously small screws that hold this thing to either the stand or a mount. Sounds like I was the problem, but as a mechanic and multi-time PC builder, I've never stripped a screw until this monitor. They're just horribly inadequate for the task they are given - holding this behemoth in the air. It will instantly void your entire warranty ("physical damage") and they will NOT send a rep to fix it, even on your dime. And good luck finding an independent repair shop to touch it. I couldn't find anyone within a 200 mile radius willing to try. It took threatening legal action, getting the regional service manager over the Western half of the U.S. and the "Office of the President" involved and I was finally offered a reasonable solution - a refund because they were "incapable" of fixing it.

Kinda off topic but I went back to flat panels after curved ultra wides gave me headaches. It might have been something with conflicting image angles or some other vision processing problem I had with the curvatures.

Right. That 240 hz is really up there. Cannot find a 4k with 120+ hz under 400 rn. I can wait though.
