Out of no where I notice my beam and sub mini in the kids play room does that and I'm about to loose it! I reset it and got it to work and the next day back to TV speakers š”. Samsung TV plugged into arc hdmi. Need a fix for this asap!
I am having an issue with this when I try to switch to TV speakers, it keeps going back and forth - TV to Sonos to TV to Sonos and continues.
Sony Bravia OLED TV with up-to-date firmware.
Anyone has this issue?
It has to be Sony TV's. I had a similar issue with the A8H and got rid of it for an LG C2. I was sick of having to change it all the time or having no sound. LG's work perfectly, I have three different generations all with Sonos soundbars, no issues at all.
Don't need the loud noise for Cocomelon or when kids are asleep.
Either ways, if there's an option to change to tv speakers, it should work without having to go through all the trouble and frustration
This is where you just need to enable both "Night Sound" and "Speech Enhancement" in the Sonos App and keep volume lower. No need for the change to TV speakers. Or turn down the bass in Sonos App.

The warranty is provided by Allstate. Just note that if anything happens to the soundbar, you have to ship the product in your own box after they provide the prepaid carrier label. So do keep your original Sonos box if you wish that the package is not damaged during logistics. I recently came to know about this when I sent my vacuum cleaner to Allstate service center and finding a right size box along with packing material like bubble wrapping, etc. had to be done from my end.
If you're into Sonos products and soundbars, this is a really good deal. I have an Arc with the gen 1 Subwoofer and 2 original Play: Ones for satellites. I use it in my gaming loft connected to a Sony 82" with a PS5, Xbox One and Apple TV 4K⦠for a wireless Soundbar system, it's dam good.
Doesn't hold a candle to my living room Home Theater system, but that's a wired system. Both are awesome nonetheless and if I didn't have a badass legacy system, I'd be more than happy to have a Sonos Arc in a 5.1 for my living room.
In my house, I have the Sonos Arc 5.1 system in my loft and 4 more original Play: Ones set in stereo pairs in my kitchen and garage. I have a Sonos Connect S15 that connects the Sonos Ecosystem to my living room Home Theater. I believe Sonos has the Sonos Port that now connects to your legacy system. I had the original Sonos Playbar that I gave my ex along with a couple Sonos Play: Ones. That too is a great Sounbar.
Half my Sonos products are refurbs and I've never had a problem with them. Only issue I've had is original setup of a couple Play: Ones. Wouldn't connect wirelessly so I had to set them up with Ethernet first, then after that wireless worked great.
Of note, the refurbs I got were directly from Sonos, which this Arc is sold by

One last think⦠if you're going to add satellites to this, no need to get expensive Alexa capable or whatever ones. Get the cheapest pair. You don't need Play 5's or a Roam or whatever. Get a pair of IKEA ones, those are cheap. Remember, they're satellites, not your main speakers.

Yes, I have all kinds of problems with switching back and forth from TV Speakers to a SONY Soundbar. Like guys, it's your own damn soundbar. It's terrible. I even recently got a TV firmware upgrade after a very long time, and everything seems worse.
It gets really bad when I want to turn it on and watch an external device (Apple TV). The best workaround I found is that you have to start any show in the native Android app, make sure it's on external speaker when it starts, then it's safe to switch to the external device - it always stays on external speaker from there. So stupid.
I wish I was sensible as SensibleFruit9735 to just get rid of this thing and go with LG. This TV looks beautiful but so insanely buggy and I hate it so much.

Looks like this comment has ZERO to do with the Sonos Arc.
Sorry you're having problems with your Sony Soundbar

I appreciate your empathy, it helps. But, please understand, I was trying confirm for OP that my Sony Bravia was switching back and forth between TV and External Speakers. And I'm saying it happens with their own soundbar too, that's how bad the speaker switching problem is. I was also hoping to provide a workaround for the constant switching back and forth. It may solve that problem for the Arc connected to the Bravia.
