I've found tankless ROs to not work as well. I use APEC / iSpring, both of which are comparable and get around 20 - 25 ppm TDS with remineralization. I tried a few tankless ROs, both cheaper and then more expensive ($600) to and they all are 100 - 120ppm.

Yes, the PCB filter is $50 and is replaces at 6-12 months. The RO membrane is $150 and is replaced at 12-24 months

The way the world is going I'd assume those prices will only go up.

I got the Waterdrop G3P600 and it is working extremely well. My tap water is about 250-270 ppm. With the Waterdrop it goes down to 21ppm. With their remineralization filter it goes to 45ppm.

Some reviewers on amazon say that it wastes water after you dispense water from the faucet.

Does this happen with your unit?

That's interesting and hasn't been my experience but then again my ppm is like 450 (Vegas).

However I should note that if I turn the faucet on for a few seconds and then check, the ppm drops to around 60 but the first cup worth is like 120.

How is the water waste ratio? Is it truly 2:1?
My APEC Tank system wastes 5 gallons per gallon purified.

I have an ispring and it is an absolute bear to replace all six filters. I've done it twice and each time it took 2 hours of sweating and cursing and leaking. Although once it is done, it is effective. I'm getting 30ppm while bottled water is around 15.
