This is an insanely good deal if your in the kobalt line. 2 top of the line tools and a premium battery (4ah high output not normal 1) for only 129. Or 1 tool and 3 premium batteries

I have the 24v Max line regular drill, probably a generation or two old by now. I do general weekend warrior type stuff around my house. I've never felt the current drill lacks for power and I have the impact driver as well for jobs requiring that tool. I'm interested in jumping to this just for the better batteries, but how is the performance between this and the regular line? Is this noticeably better?

The extra battery and driver and flashlight may be nice additions along w a circular saw.

yes...that's the way it reads to me...your choice: circular saw OR a reciprocating saw OR two more batteries.

Just did it and yes. Getting the driver/light/battery for 70 bucks is pretty nice, since the driver lists at 179 by itself. And the case for all three tools looks useful too.

I have dewalt XR 20v and some of the 20/60v tools, 12v dewalt tools, milwaukee fuel and 12v fuel lineup, makita, dinosaur old kobalt 12v (or 14v, i can't remember at the moment), but for some reason I have been eyeing the XTR lineup for years but because of what I already have I could never justify spending money just to spend it.... this might be my chance to test them out.... thanks!

hmmmmm, good deal to get into this line though, especially since the OP's model comes with a 5AH battery and you could get 2 x 4AH for free.... looking at their other tools, like blower, vacuum, etc....
