After burn-in, go back to the soundcore app and rerun the HearID test if you're still not liking the sound quality, or tweak further to dial things in to your preference.
As far as call quality, I can hear just fine and callers think I sound okay, but I don't make calls in noisy environments to comment any further.
Some reviews mentioned bluetooth lag with this headset: running the latest firmware (6.34 per the soundcore app), I encountered none when paired to my Amazon Firestick 4k. I also did not encounter lag when paired to my phone using LDAC (for higher fidelity). Audio sync was spot on for both devices when watching people talk on news programs. It's possible this issue was corrected from earlier firmware versions, but I updated my headset as soon as I got it via the app.
Just my two cents and hand to the Slickdeals community bible that I am not a paid shill and bought mine for $100 from Amazon in the past week.

In calls some peers complain about a light hall when ANC is on. There is a tiny amount of lag, it becomes more apparent in calls and overspending/interrupting. Firmware is the newest available. It doesn't operate when charging, bummer. Range is ok, 30ft, much better than my jabra evo 65.
Works just fine paired to a Mac.
