The build quality is comparable to that of similar budget laptops from other manufacturers. It's decent build quality given the price and the same quality as that of most sub $500 laptops. I've never had an issue with these.

If you want noticeably better build quality, you will need to spend at least double or triple the price.

Ryzen 5 5500U is a Zen 2 (Lucienne) CPU. Per the OP -- and confirmed by the Inspiron 15 3525 support documentation linked below -- there is 1 x USB-C port on configurations with a Barcelo / Lucienne CPU. Note that the documentation does *not* specifically indicate the USB-C port supports PD/charging, so it appears to be data only.

No, at least per the Inspiron 15 3525 support documentation linked below. While both panels have the same spec for Horizontal View Angle (80 degrees L/R) -- and hence "wide view" -- there are differences in other specs, including brightness, contrast, and refresh rate.

The WVA display listed as Option 3 in the table has a stated 60Hz refresh and brightness of 220 nits. The SD linked deal has a WVA (IPS) display with a stated refresh rate of 120Hz and brightness of 250 nits, which is the one listed as Option 2 in the table.

Yes, WVA is just a term trademarked by Dell to use instead of IPS, but it means the same thing.
