I've had these for about a year. They have been reliable in general, with basically never needing a reboot. I have around 40 devices on the network. Speeds are good, and I can max out 1Gbps Ethernet going station-to-station through one wall at 20 feet.

Unfortunately one of the stations has now basically died. While it can join the mesh, if I connect to it either by plugging in an Ethernet cable to any port, or connecting specifically to that station over wifi, it immediately enters a reboot loop. Fully resetting/wiping firmware doesn't help.

I emailed support and they got back to me pretty fast. It sounds like they're willing to replace it, but waiting on confirmation. If they don't, I'll just return the whole thing to Costco.

Interesting. I bought the 4 pack Google Nest Wifi Pro at Costco during black friday week. It has generally been good, but a couple of times one unit randomly stopped accessing the network and only unplugging/replugging got it to work again. Wondering if this TP-Link set would be better.

Are these units able to be used separate? I only need 2, and want to set one up at my parents house.

Yes, the units are all identical and any of them can be used as a standalone router.

I did forget to mention that these have a very simple web UI where you basically can't change anything, and basically all changes have to be through their Deco app. Even then, the level of customization is pretty basic compared to say, Netgear.

Thanks! I'm coming from a eero 6. I don't need any advance features and hope this will be a good upgrade.

Same experience. Had one of the ports on a satellite die and the RMA process was fairly painless for me. System has a 2 year warranty and they seem to stand by it.

Ended up buying this. Much better range than the Nest Wifi Pro. My local Costco has the latest hardware version 2.6, hopefully they fixed the ethernet port issues. I like the IoT network option.

So do I use these in addition to my AT&T modem/router? I m new to these mesh network. Would I disable the wifi feature from my AT&T router and use these as wifi router?

Yes, you can use these with your ATT modem/gateway. I just bought this set and put behind my AtT fiber bgw-320.

You can choose to also leave the att wifi on or you can disable it. You can access via the URL and access code printed on the modem.

You'll also want to go to the firewall section and the passthrough IP fixed section and select the Deco router for passthrough.

These are excellent. I have 3 of the AXE5400 from Amazon as an upgrade to the m9 plus. They are identical to the AXE5300 costco model. Coverage and connectivity is now supercharged in my house

I have this exact set up and has worked well for me the last 2 months while working from home. As others mentioned, the features through the deco app are very basic, but they do work well.

I have one node in a workshop, and two in the house. Even though the workshop is far away from the house, one node in the house and the node in the workshop are connected via an Ethernet cable and connectivity is seamless when moving from the house to the shop.

I have this paired with the T-mobile 5g home internet (only internet available where I am) which unmodified has high download/upload speeds, but loaded ping was very bad. I enabled the QoS settings through the deco app to make the loaded ping figures much better, but it seems like other routers would have handled this type of situation more effectively.

All in all, I'm happy with the system. It's very simple to setup and maintain.

Got this yesterday with Costco same day delivery promo plus IC gift cards saving. Replaced Orbi rbk750 which can't connect devices back after reboot, takes multiple times to get everything back.

I like this because I have cat cables running in the house so I can ethernet back haul each node and get full speed. App, web are really basic so don't expect much. Not sure if anyone else has this issue but it did takes a while to realized it's plug in with ethernet. Eventually I got it all worked. Devices are instantly connect back after reboot and great wifi coverage. Highly recommend if you looking for a decent 6e solution with back haul

YES, I was worried that it wasn't working as it took soo long to connect to the internet and I even had to restart the fios device and reboot the router but it did work eventually.

I replaced Google wifi and as others stated, this has been solid and the range and speed are also excellent even without weird backhaul.
