This is the last nerf gun I still recommend, and even then, only at $6. I have a mess of kids and 20+ dart blasters. X-shot has completely eaten nerf's lunch. They're markedly cheaper (like 60-80% cheaper), they're lighter, they have cooler designs, much higher fps, their darts are way better, their darts are cheaper to buy in bulk, etc, etc. Nerf is a complete and total has-been in 2023.

That said, the gun on sale here is one of Nerf's best. Buuuut you can get a better gun in every way for $10 from x-blaster. The Last Stand from x-shot was $14 at target a couple months ago, and is the kids' favorite blaster, but it appears to be $20-ish everywhere, no doubt to try and capture max gift $$.

I was able to grab multiple for 3.49 each at target. I was going to post it here but I think it was a mistake so the deal was gone before I could make a post. Anyway, it's a nice solid nerf gun.

I bought 11 of these between Target and Amazon when they were $3.50 a couple of weeks ago. All the kids/cousins are going to have fun on Christmas.

This model is $5.39 + free shipping on Fleet Farms website. I bought two last week. Too lazy to post the deal and while it's mildly better than this, it didn't beat the $4ish deals earlier in the year.

I hadn't heard of these x-shot guns until just now, but they looks awesome. Do you have a preference between the dart guns or ball guns? I haven't used anything that shoots the foam balls yet
