Thanks for the reminder, my wife's sportsline account was about to expire. I signed up with my email that I used previously and it worked, March 2025 after threatening to cancel. I did have to login to paramount using paramountplus.com/sportsline for paramount plus to work.

If you use the online cancel button and accept the 3 month free extension you will need to call to cancel before it renews in 18 months. If you don't accept the 3 month extension you can cancel online without the phone call.

It worked for me; I just checked my Paramount account. However, I don't know what you mean by "Once done, if you click cancel, it will extend till March 2025." Do you mean that after the 30-day free period for Paramount, I need to cancel my Paramount account to get this extension? Any clarification on how to get it to work past the 30-day free period would be greatly appreciated :-)

if you signed up for the full year.. (Which gives you full year of Paramount and Showtime)and then click to cancel your account it will give you an option to extend it till Mar 2025 ..this can be done only once though I believe.

Its not related to the 30 day period as that is for members who are active but don't have subscriptions.

Just to be clear, this means going to "cancel" your Sportsline subscription (in your Sportsline account). When you do that, they will offer the 3-month free extension of your Sportsline membership, which will in turn extend out the Paramount+ / Showtime subscription (unless they change or discontinue that benefit between now & then).

It's more than 12 months if you click cancel in your sportsline account (but then don't really cancel)

That's 100% correct. Sportsline + Paramount ad-free + showtime for one year for $34.99. Then cancel and they'll offer to add more time to it so it won't expire until March 2025.

So I read here before that down the road if you want to cancel you can't do it online. You actually have to call customer service. Kinda like SiriusXM service.
