I bought the Ultra 2 as an upgrade from my Series 7 due to the fact it had sapphire glass (more durable), bigger display (my eyesight isn't what it used to be), longer battery life, and I was curious about the double tap feature. Overall, I've been pleased. The things I've enjoyed most since owning (bought open box BB when it came out for ~$620+tax) have been the flat display (feels like more usable space than the curve), the sturdiness of the buttons and ease of access to buttons (I use a Mac and use the watch to double click to unlock), the battery life, the sleep tracking (which do since I have the battery life), and the double click feature. Double click is most helpful for me when dismissing a notification or replying to a text or email. Since that's something I do frequently, it's worth something to me. I probably wouldn't pay for it myself for just that though.

Great price and product. Though I dislike the band. If you sweat a ton during workouts consider the ocean band.

I'm pretty sure that's the question that they're looking for some analysis on.

If you had the 45mm Series 7, the screen size is "almost" the same (1.9" vs 1.92" or 1143 sq mm vs 1164 sq mm). 45mm vs 49mm is the measurement of the case, and Ultra has a thick bezel to fill the gap.

Double tap is pretty useless in my opinion so even Series 8 is an excellent choice.

I really only got the Ultra 2 because a) didn't have a watch so given the planned obsolescence, I wanted to buy the best possible watch I could afford today, b) chose Ultra 2 over series 9 because of a full extra day (sometimes more) battery life in Ultra 2 c) more rugged (if you add stainless steel (not even titanium), cellular, etc to Series 9, its basically almost the price of ultra 2, d) looks better and more appealing in my opinion, and e) I actually love the extra button it has that I can assign for a torch which I do use quite a lot when I need to find the fridge at night without waking anyone up lol
