Snohomish county pud is offering this for $49 after instant rebate for their customers... I just got one earlier this week

edit - its up to 40amps if you use the plug or 48amps if you hardwire

I bought this in April '23 for $399 off Amazon and the first unit I received was DOA. I decided to contact Emporia instead of Amazon to see what their customer service is like and it was easy to talk to someone over the phone and they shipped me another unit before receiving the faulty one. The replacement has been working perfectly since and even at the full price I paid I think it's a terrific deal. At this price I would say just buy if you need a level 2.

If you drive a Tesla (NACS connector) you may want to wait. They are coming out with a NACS charger.

We have both. Tesla and a Mazda PHez. We ran power and I have a 14-50 plug, I don't trust the add on Tesla to J1772 plugs adapters. None are UL rated
