I believe I would buy the V11, but then again way too much for what you get…buy refurbished for 1/2 cost with included Dyson 2 year warranty. The last one I purchased didn't have a scratch on it @ 1/2 $

Main complaint for the V12 is the small canister. I think it also has a power button instead of trigger. I honestly might recommend the V15 over this for the 100 more but that's my take.

The Dyson website has refurbished models but they're not quite half off and the warranty indicated is only six months, if I'm reading it correctly.

just want to point out there is no "wand clip" in current detect slim absolute version. The photo in the walmart website is incorrect.

Check Dyson website "what's included in the box", the detect slim version has wand clip.

Yup, the fluffy head is great for hard floors. I have three kids and it works great for the kitchen. Picks up all the crumbs. It's an additional cost but ebay usually has attachments that are open box or used that fit it.

That's still pretty expensive for a V12 that is a weaker vacuum than the v11.

If you buy a refurbished dyson, get it through their eBay storefront. Dyson comes with a 6 mo. manufacturer warranty, but eBay provides free 2 year warranty on certified refurbished, which their storefront is.

It may not be the same exact warranty or as long as a new model's, but I was able to get a V11 Torque Drive+ for 280 on black friday.

I have a Dyson v10 I think. They are great...until the battery dies. And then you wont be able to get a replacement as they are always out of stock and they are really expensive if they ever come back in stock. The battery that comes with them sucks. I rigged mine up to use tool batteries.

bought this deal last time it came around. excellent for cleaning small to medium sized spaces due to the smaller canister. it's powerful enough for us, and the laser illumination really does showcase every speck of dust. my older kids love it, fun game for them. powerful "max" mode too but that drains the battery faster. i'd buy again at this price as long as you're not planning to vacuum a huge area all at once.

I was told by a Dyson rep they don't make a fluffy head attachment for the v11.
