I was grocery shopping and thought I would swing down the electronics section and discovered the keyboard. It's about 60 - 50 bucks every where else so for 26 I thought it's not a bad price for a Logitech keyboard. Happy hunting and this might be in store only.

This was my gateway keyboard to the rabbit hole of mechanical keyboard. Still have it and it's still fun to type on from time to time.

I thought the little electronic section was taken out of the stores back in 2016'ish? Some still have a toy section.

Also have them at Fred Meyer (owned by Kroger) for those that live here in the PNW.

I have a Kroger near me that still has one, selling "cheap" USB cables, Bluetooth mice, etc. next to office and school supplies.

The ones I've been to, the electronics are either just an endcap or a display with all of the items you listed. Not a full isle like they used to be, but most of the items they were selling were higher priced than anywhere else. It was the same time that they announced they would no longer be rolling out any more "Super Kroger's" (100k+ square feet stores). Those stores might still have an electronics isle, but none of them are around me.

According to Logitech's website it uses these switches:
Romer G Mechanical Switches
Durability: 70 million key presses
Actuation distance: 0.06 in (1.5 mm)
Actuation force: 1.59 oz (45 g)
Total travel distance: 0.13 in (3.2 mm)

Does someone know which type of Cherry switches they can be compared to?

Before Kroger left NC (they bought another chain of stores and consolidated brands) you could find the most absurd stuff at Kroger. The one near me had a furniture aisle, outdoor living / grilling section, other catch all section with appliances, electronics, video games, office stuff, etc. And all of it was always on clearance. Best part was Kroger stores were located in the worst parts of town so the local clientele wasn't exactly the target audience for such merchandise. You could find wicked deals because of that.

They are like Cherry MX Browns. Note that Romer G switch stems are different/proprietary from regular switches
