Any additional information on how the bundling works? For example, was any one item you mention required to trigger the bundle discount, such as the mounting? Or do you need to have 3 of any type of item? At what point will you see the bundle discount appear?

I'm curious if I could bundle, say, two items (sound bar + sound bar accessory). If not, would I need to add mounting to make it 3 items?

Not entirely sure how the bundling works. Samsung's site is always pretty confusing with all the different discount programs available.

My exact steps were
1. Log in with EPP
2. Add TV to cart with the tv mounting option (mounting already shows 0 for me on the tv's product page)
3. Add the soundbar on the page that appears immediately after adding the tv to cart.
4. Chat with customer service to get the warranty added.

Unfortunately I don't have an EPP account (REALLY wish there was a way to just pay for one). But I see the Q990C soundbar add-on is only $1099.99 even without EPP, which is still a great price. It doesn't seem there is a way to get only the soundbar though. Can anyone else confirm?

I've read where some people were able to get into the discount program by joining AAA. Maybe look into that option a little further.

While AAA members usually get the same deals as the other discount programs, it has happened before that the different discount programs get different pricing and this deal might be one.

I saw AAA mentioned in a previous q990c post, where it was listed for $700. I don't use AAA, so that's why I said look into further.

Oh ok, I apologize for that, I was only going by what I read in another thread. I missed out on the q990c when it was $700, so I'm hopeful that it'll return. In the meantime, keep trying to find a way to get into the discount plan to be ready when the deal hits.
