Attached is their "Condition Guide" for the three condition categories in case it helps. I noticed some posts asking about the condition of these watches. Basically Certified Refurb is like new, Reburb has some signs of wear, Pre-owned has even more signs of wear.

At least with Apple refurbs, you get a new battery. My wife has a Best Buy "geek squad" refurb Apple Watch and it dies before lunch. 80% battery health.
But the last two orders that I made in the past month, both came very much scuffed up and very much "used". I was very much disappointed and initiated a return on one of the order. The customer service was very friendly and didn't make any fuss about processing the return and sent me a return label right away.
My recent order also came a bit scuffed up. I am a bit hesitant initiate another return in a month.
Edit: I ordered both apple (3 iPads and one iPad keyboard) and non-apple (Sony, Anker) products from them

If you dig on their site, they have 3 conditions, and it sounds like the difference is just wear and tear. Even this certified refurbished condition is not certified by Apple, but should be "like new". Here is a screenshot of their condition descriptions from their site:

Their pricing occasionally makes no sense; I've seen newer models sell for less than older models, so be sure to sort by price.
edit: the reason you want the stainless and ultra models is that the screen is sapphire, which means little to no scratching. And the stainless case is harder to scratch as well (not sure about the ultra).

It's a minimal incremental update by Apple at best. They just marketed it like it was incredible with the separate cores for offline Siri. The double tap works on all Apple Watches in accessibility settings.
You are delusional if you think gen 2 is worth it over gen 1 at this price. Gen 3 will likely be a huge update with Apple Watch Series X coming up next. (Apple always goes hard with X product releases.)
