Attached is their "Condition Guide" for the three condition categories in case it helps. I noticed some posts asking about the condition of these watches. Basically Certified Refurb is like new, Reburb has some signs of wear, Pre-owned has even more signs of wear.

At least with Apple refurbs, you get a new battery. My wife has a Best Buy "geek squad" refurb Apple Watch and it dies before lunch. 80% battery health.
But the last two orders that I made in the past month, both came very much scuffed up and very much "used". I was very much disappointed and initiated a return on one of the order. The customer service was very friendly and didn't make any fuss about processing the return and sent me a return label right away.
My recent order also came a bit scuffed up. I am a bit hesitant initiate another return in a month.
Edit: I ordered both apple (3 iPads and one iPad keyboard) and non-apple (Sony, Anker) products from them

I've been debating between the battery replacement for awhile now, but at this point I can wait another 9 months to see the 10th anniversary edition of the Apple Watch. Rumors are pointing that it's a radical redesign and the current straps won't be compatible.

With a phone, I'd upgrade well before software updates stop. With a watch, possibly closer to when software updates stop or after they stop
series 2 had limited support on the 3rd year, and dropped on 4th.
series 3 had limited support on 3rd/4th year and dropped on 5th year.
it's hard to see Apple dropping support on series 6 and keeping ultra 1 when both have the same CPU and same RAM, especially when they've said before that they deny planned obsolescence.
so when S6 gets dropped, it's more than likely S7, S8, ultra 1 will get dropped too. question is, will S6 get 7+ years of updates? maybe, maybe not.
personally, i'm waiting for next year to replace my S6 watch. the only reason is i'm sick of the red color. had i got the black color, i would have kept it until the software updates stopped. there's just not much new in S9/Ultra for me to want to buy a new watch.
Update on my order: it came in quicker than expected, and it looks absolutely pristine (just a really minor scratch on top of the watch head you can barely make out). 100% battery health like many others as well.
Only thing I'm a bit disappointed by is the warranty runs out in the middle of next month LOL so just a few weeks left. Would've been nice to have received one with a lot more time left on it. But regardless, I'm very satisfied with the purchase and I'm thankful for all the help from my fellow SD'ers.
