My bad, you're right. This is a pretty good deal. Hmmm... Costco had the 16 gb / 512 gb SSD one with touch screen for this price. I bought it but returned it because a display defect. I'm trying to get the touch screen one again at this price on Costco. But, if they won't honor the previous price, I might get this one. Too bad this one doesn't have the Nvidia rtx3050

This seems like the best deal going for my photography needs. I'm finding a lot of other great specs, but then crap screens when it comes to color accuracy and/or brightness. I was hoping to find a deal at Costco or Best Buy and wanted to stay under $1k if possible so this may be the one. My only concern is the graphics card, but I wont be gaming and will only potentially be doing light video. Not sure I'll find a better deal than this one.

Anyone see any big drawbacks to this laptop?

For photography maybe you'd want higher brightness and an OLED screen? If you don't care about that, then this is a great non gaming laptop. The video card in it can't be used for games really
