As far as PSVR2 deals go, this is the best Ive personally seen. $125 off if you do in store pickup off an online order plus any credit + points you have throw at it. Pretty solid deal Id say. Between the limited space I have, not knowing how VR will do for me, and the price tag...just can't bring myself to do it. I have vision issues and just feel like it would be a big gamble.
One has the full support of a company and just got a massive well rated stand alone game while the other is just an accessory that could be relagated to obscurity soon.
Debating the same thing. The first vr set from Sony felt like a failure with the lack of games and it is appearing to be that again. I already own a meta quest 3 and noticed Sony is advertising many games that are already on that platform. Looks like I only get a small handful of games exclusive to VR2, many I don't care to play. 10 months into the release and it doesn't look promising again for Sony's VR.

GameStops deal of the day includes a $100 off the PSVR2 for pro members. This includes the regular PSVR2: https://www.gamestop.com/consoles...93118.html

As well as the one bundled with Horizon call of the mountain ($474.99): https://www.gamestop.com/consoles...93119.html

Both of these can be merged with the Gamestop deal that include $25 off of items that are bought online and selected for in store pickup that are greater than $250

This is false, quest as a standalone system is absolutely terrible. If you want to play crappy fruit ninja and Roblox games then the quest is for you. If you want a real vr experience the PlayStation is one of the better options, with REAL games.

I'm sure this is a decent price but I can't justify spending any more than $400 for a system with limited titles and very few (that I see) on the horizon.

Tried to order one for pick up. It charged my CC but it did not give me an order confirmation. There is nothing in order status and did not receive an email. Anybody else having issues?

If you don't need it immediately I doubt it is worth signing up for pro membership.

Now that GameStop has it on sale, I'm sure other retailers will have it on sale occasionally. This is not a price mistake or an exceptional deal that might amount to a rare opportunity. Yes, this definitely is the lowest price it has been. But deals on PSVR2 had to start at some point. I'm sure Sony was waiting for the early adopters and dedicated VR fans to buy it at the retail price. $100 off a $550 system seems like what a typical occasional deal is going to look like.

Keep in mind you still get the $100 off including the membership since the membership is $25 and they have a $25 off if you order online and pick it up.

Yes, definitely a better deal if you have one in stock nearby. In that case it might be worth it. But my point still stands. If you don't immediately need one, it's okay to wait and see what typical deals might be. There aren't a ton of games on PSVR2 and (I might be wrong here) even though meta quest 3 has inferior graphics it's selling better, due to it being a stand alone system.
