0w-16 is such a random newer weight, it always makes me double take…I do wonder if it'd be ok in a 0w-20 application, they're so close.

0w-16 is the "7 minute abs" of the oil world.

What if someone comes up with 0w-15?!

Looks like some new Subarus are specifying 0W-16. I have an older Subaru that uses 0W-20. I'm sure swapping in 0W-16 would be fine, particularly during winter driving where thinner oil is desirable.

But is anyone actually getting their orders filled? I see some reports of cancellations, but no one that's actually gotten the oil.

I placed an order for 6 at a store about 30 minutes away, they called to say they had to cancel order because they didn't have any in stock....I just don't know how this can happen. I can see inventory being off for 1 maybe 2 but 6? Well this is a great deal to those that can get it.

This is a clearance sale from over 2 years ago, you're only going to find any at a very remote store that nobody ever goes to, any stock that shows online at most stores is probably just an inventory fluke.
