I bought this last year for $10, but came with a 5x7' green screen and a mini tripod. The ring light itself is only bright enough for closeup photos/video (so up to about 3-4 feet away). Still an amazing deal at $10 and if you have a use for it then it's well worth it at that price

Is the white light good or is there color shift from the RGB LEDs? I would only take photos of some things in my little DIY lightbox.

I really only used the warm white and bright whites and those should be pretty good for your light box. Worst case just return it At this price it's worth a shot.
