Ubisoft ALWAYS drops their games quick. I assume they figure they can drive more sales at a lower price.
Quick yeah but this is giving off bargain bin vibes. Almost half off after a week of release this seems too quick. I've heard it's pretty boring though.
technically a very impressive game. according to digital foundry best way to enjoy the game is to turn off all the UI objectives and map/map indicators and thus ignore all the typical Ubisoft farcry-ish game tropes, and just immerse yourself in the world and the cutting edge tech powering all the foliage. Feels like Crisis in many ways. I'm excited to play it, just need the deal for PC.
This game is a monumental flop in progress. It was supposed to be released when the 2nd movie was but has been delayed all this time. There was like no marketing for it either. The 2nd movie made a ton of money too, so the failure of this game is entirely on Ubisoft, no excuses.
It is a crappy game it will be 20 dollars in a month and probably a free PS Plus game in 6 months hold off and buy this when it hits 20 or less

"Offline mode available after day 1 patch download. Ubisoft account required to launch game." Terrible for console players off the grid or with metered bandwidth. $9.99 for standard/$14.99 for standard+all DLC is the usual waiting period for Ubisoft Open world games as their mainly eye candy and forgettable campaigns w/unltd side quests.
Ah yes, another thread where folks who haven't played a game comment on how bad it is.
To anyone who's interested in this game, get it. Its reviews are higher than more recent Ubisoft games and it looks gorgeous. Don't listen to the insufferable people on here. Will it be cheaper in a few months? Absolutely. But if you can't wait to play it, this is a good deal off the MSRP.

If someone is off the grid/using metered bandwidth, why would they even bother with this game, or maybe any large game? Day 1 patch is very common now (including Nintendo games), that's something to complain about? What do you want?
