Is it better than the official Microsoft adapter for the Xbox controller?

Edit: I checked, while it's more customizable and supports more controllers, you can only connect one controller to one adapter at a time.

They definitely do. I've got 2 of these and that's my only use case(xbox controllers with these adapters on a switch).

Devices like these allow you to use most controllers on a console or PC easily. I use a mayflash one on my switch to use a PS4 controller to play my switch games. It's a handy device. Just know you can only connect one controller to it at a time and different devices will work with different consoles. So be sure to check if the console you want to use it on is compatible with the specific device.

xbox ctrl uses bluetooth afaik

As others says if it can control stadia controllers then I am in for this, my free stadia controller from Google still lying in some boxes. 😜 (Google returned my money in full when they shutdown their gaming platform). Thank You

FYI this still uses Bluetooth to connect to the controller. Personally, I haven't had issues with input lag while using a controller over BT to play FPS games, but my controller would randomly disconnect and reconnect a few seconds later when using another BT USB dongle. Hoping this is more reliable

Check to see if there are open box deals, you can get them for even cheaper at excellent condition. I got one for $10.90. For something like this it's worth it.

Note that these don't support rumble when using Google Stadia controller on Nintendo Switch.
Only Mayflash dongles do this. I was able to pick up MAYFLASH Magic-NS for about $12 on Amz a couple of weeks ago. https://www.amazon.com/MAYFLASH-B...TDZP6?th=1
