I'm a Ryobi fan, their tools are awesome, but their bits are trash. Avoid these

40 pcs for $10. Seems cheap too, but reviews say low quality.

It's not worth $6 is the point. The time wasted in buying, using, be disappointed after using the inferior quality product, and buying similar product again is a lot of hassle and pain.

Yes, Ryobi bits are generally terrible quality.

Maybe a new thing. I have a Ryobi set from 19 years ago that I still use all the time.

Imagine complaining about a $6 drill bit set. Unbelievable.

The poor reviews on these seem accurate. I bought these a year or so ago during a similar sale and the first time I used a bit it broke off into the wood. I can't remember the last time I broke a drill bit before that.

Ryobi tools are good IMHO but not their bits/drivers. These are the only bits that I've ever used that have gotten warped or snapped in half.

I like the Milwaukee ones but they're pricier than these. I'd only get the newer Milwaukee model as the older ones had cases that were quite difficult to remove/replace the bits from.

This cheap set saved my butt once when I didn't have access to my regular tools. Bought it cause it was the cheapest for one item in it; ended up needed several I didn't expect and avoided another visit to the store. I love to hate to Ryobi but they always take care of me.

I have this set as well as a larger ryobi bit and impact driver set. One of the drill bits broke in this set, but honestly I am not complaining for the price of the set. For the rare jobs around the house I do these work out great, if I was doing things more often I'd invest in better bits.

I know most Ryobi bits suck but how about the diamond coated ones

Ryobi has different bit sets that go on sale and are better (IMO). This set has very few actual drill bits (you'll need to get a larger set anyways) or impact bits to be super useful for anything.
