Build quality feels great and super light. Wish this had 16 GB RAM and/or higher res OLED. Missed out on the Costco HP deal, specs aren't up to that here but the Galaxy feels premium and I prefer touchscreen. Any one have comparable machines for this?

Yes this checks a lot of boxes but 8gb forever??? that s a deal breaker IMO
I really wanted to buy this laptop as it pairs well with Samsung Galaxy phone. However there are reports that the screen is fragile and cracks easily and also the specs were really not that great. Finally settled with Surface Laptop 4 which is an awesome laptop for the price and very comparable to Apple macbook air.

handled this at best buy and it felt very solid. while 1080p is pretty low.. on a 13.3 it doesn't look that bad... i'd much rather take this vs the asus grainy OLED display. .. not being able to upgrade the ram or the m.2 is meh... and with all the reports of the glass cracking under normal use... eh.. that said... i'd pick it up when it drops to $300~

Yes the screen will crack even when be very careful. It's simply too thin. I've had several book3, and 2 people I know that have either 13 or 15 all cracked in the first 10 months. Maybe if you never ever move it, but then what's the point off such a thin laptop.
On the bright side, the crack is just a hair line crack and touchscreen continued to work, but not cool.
The book3 pro 360 is really their improved model. I doubt we will see book4 non pro. Samsung probably had remaining inventory from book1 and book2

Yeah, about two years ago I picked up a galaxy book laptop. I'm super careful I've never had a screen crack on a laptop never dropped. It sat on it or anything. Just used it in an office environment and the screen cracked for like no reason like two weeks later, I've never had this happen on MSI gigabyte Apple and pretty much everything non-Apple. I always get with an OLED screen they're just way too thin if you want to spend $600 on something with a big crack through the screen personally, I'd rather have a cheap laptop that would hold up , if you're looking for OLED, go elsewhere, hp asuse msi lg something else Samsung and the curved We intentionally failing products architecture is a bad product to buy save your money
I picked up my 8GB model 2 years ago and loved the super lightweight design despite many opposing 8GB at that time. That said, it's more than enough for browsing, YouTube, office suites, remote desktops, etc. Still, I would expect any new purchase now to be at least 16GB since that extra 8GB cost close to nothing today and 8GB would hit its limit soon. Say maybe Win 12 put 16GB as its minimum.

I have the non-360, non-touch version and the screen is sturdy and has endured many shocks and direct impacts. The 360/touch version has an edge-to-edge covering glass and that could be the reason.
