Reinstall windows from windows recovery menu, remove all dell bloat, update bios and drivers. Call dell support and have them walk you through this, if you cannot be bothered to google how.

I bought this for my son in October with the same deal + Amex offer.
The dedicated display port was important.
No blue screen on his device. He uses it daily for Gaming only.
I did not reinstall Windows but updated Windows and all drivers using Alienware and Dell updater. One driver could not be found. The last driver was installed with the help of the free IOBit Driver Booster

Alienware Command Center is the most buggiest software I've used. Unfortunately that is the only way to operate this device. I bought the model from last year and the laptop is super loud, dell customer service is not helpful, and battery dies very quickly. STAY AWAY…..

MSI afterburner won't work on my 3070ti m16. I tried to adjust the fans through Alienwares software but I can't figure out a good setting.

My awR7 desktop is easy to adjust fan speeds to keep it cool.

Can anyone give input on this laptop vs the dell G15 5530 from BF? That was a $999 model with a 4060 rtx, 360hz screen, 1080p display. I plan to play docked on a 1400p monitor. Naturally a 4070 seems more relevant but comments here say the leap is small between the mobile 4060 and 4070? Not sure if it's worth $400 more to future proof a little.

I read some professional reviews which seemed to indicate the quiet or silent mode (can't remember what it is called) seemed to have excellent performance with drastically reduced fan noise. Have you tried it?
