I own a couple of these ratcheting hand drivers. The Klein version feels like it has the best quality for fit and bit quality. Megapro has quality bits but less ergonomic. Craftsman is okay but ratcheting action not as good as Megapro or Klein. Hypertough from Walmart is garbage.
i got this a while back... in this case what 'speeddrive' means is that you can twist the screwdriver both ways to drive one way. thus, you are not wasting a turn. there is a control to set the direction.
This is a pretty great screwdriver but a couple of warnings - 1) the bits are not magnetized and the magnetizers do not work on them. 2) the end cap comes off too easily and the bits fall out. It's plastic threaded and won't stay on. 3) the main bits most people use are + and -. Many screwdrivers include a bit that has both on one reversable bit so you don't have to open it to switch the most common cases. This does not. They're all +/+ or -/-, etc. Overall great screwdriver for the price but know it's limits.

I went with the MegaPro based on that Project Farm video.

I have two different versions of the Kobalt branded driver and these come in really handy. I thought it was an as-seen-on-TV type gimmick type tool when i was given one twenty-some years ago but they're nice to have, so much so I bought a second one. The Kobalt version has a little bit of slop in the action but it's reasonable given the price point.

This one has double-ended bits, which is nice when they stow in the handle but the downside is they're harder to replace if you break one. All said, this is a nice stocking-stuffer / office potluck gift.

I like the kobalt direction control better, it's easier to switch one handed which I use pretty often. I have one of these and two of the kobalts, haven't tried the megapro.

A slimmer motorized screwdriver maybe be a better bet for those tight spaces that you sometimes have to navigate. This is slightly bulky for PC use, in my opinion.

Alright. Thanks for the info.

Any motorized screwdriver or is there particular brand that's just reliable and decent build quality?

How would you compare the Husky to the Klein?

Did you end up with this one?

I handled one at the store and it felt solid and hefty.
