you only need to pay 1 month and then never worry about it again. just wait 6 months and the phone is unlocked.

with cricket here you need to pay 6 months CONTINUEOUSLY and cna only be 6 month on the specific iphone 12. which ends up costing more than the phone itself

I think Metro has a similar deal at the moment. Port in new account for $99 iphone 12. I think their cheapest plan is $40. So $139 + tax and a 6 months wait. It's a pretty decent price. The only thing stopping me is going to the store.

I went to 2 stores in person and they both had no stock. I suspect the promo ended becuase why would they not have stock of it during the holiday season when everyone is purhcasing phones

It's a good deal for someone who wants to get an iphone 12 and does not have any problems using their service for 6 months. We placed 2nd order today online, paying total $227 including phone, 2 months service (planning to change it 4 months). So pretty much we paid $107 for phone and $30/month for next 6 months.

For this line, we were paying $25/mo to visible so if we compare we will end up paying extra $5/mo for 6 months.

For us unlimited data vs 5gb data doesn't make much difference as we don't travel or use more than 5gb data in a month. For some folks, definitely it could be a concern but for us it works fine.

We tried one device and service before ordering the second one so service and signal in our area is good as well.

I hope you're using the referral from the first account for second account. This way, both account gets an extra $25 credit in 60 days.

I received mine, but I don't see any sim card in the box, and it isn't in the phone's sim tray. I bought one iPhone 12 and one iPhone 11.
Are you guys getting the new sim card in the shipping box or iphone box?

64 gb is not enough for my beotch.
I wonder if anyone bought the 128 gb instead.
I don't mind to pay extra 50 bucks for extra storage.

I think the question was referring to Metro vs Cricket. Metro doesn't seem to require you to have active service. Cricket does.

Also, it might be more difficult now since they are using eSIM instead of the physical SIM.
