I have been able to resist all the Strat deals this month, but not sure about these Charvels. Looking at the HT option. Anyone know what the neck on these are like? Are they thinner like an Ibanez or more along the lines of a Fender Strat?

Fender strat. I have a SoCal and a DK24. The DK is a tad bit thinner. Either way if you're a strat guy (like myself) you'll feel right at home. I also own a JEM and an RG and they're different monsters.

Thicker than Ibanez wizard neck but also compound radius so some like it better.
I bought the Old Yella model from last time it was 750. It was the best guitar I have played so far, I wish they had more finish options for the Hard tail versions.

Just picked up a So-Cal Style 2 HH HT E a few weeks ago, the neck is a thin C that tapers to a slight D shape after the 12th fret. It's no where near Ibanez thin but it is noticeably thinner than the modern C on a new fender.
The Firefly FFST has some options down to $150-160 + tax/shipping, right now, with alnico 5 pickups, stainless steel frets, an excellent neck for action. I watched an extremely thorough review about the overall craftsmanship, and I'd say for a lot of folks that's the best value going on atm.

As a heads up, I purchased the $599 Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HH HT and just received an email that they were "oversold" and Charvel doesn't have the stock necessary to fulfill so my order was being canceled.
Pretty sure it was a pricing error they won't honor.
I will second Firefly guitars for the value. Received a FFST for Christmas and it can't be beat for the money and competes against guitars well above its price range, especially if you can do some setup work yourself.
