I've been driving a ST with the 3 cylinder off and on for a few months. The 2023 isn't a bad little SUV and they've really improved the looks. It's pretty much like any other lower end SUV on the market today. Doesn't ride great, kinda loud inside but gets the job done. Seats are really comfy and MPG is pretty good. Ford has been making solid hybrids for quite a while now so I'd definitely lean that way.

Better off with a Mazda cx 5. More reliable and better value overall. 0% financing for 60 months as well.

This is not remotely a deal unless there's some big discounts going along with it. How much off MSRP is an Escape nowadays? Will be discontinued in 2025 cause Ford.

We own a 2023 Ford Focus ST Line, love it, has the same 3 cylinder turbo as the Escape. Wish they sold it in the US.

that's cause they relying on the tax credit making all these EV prices over inflated worthless.

they pocketing the money themselves of course.
Unless its LiFEPO4 I wouldn't buy any EV right now.

The weakness of lifepo4 they use as an excuse to use crappy li-ion is cold starting reduces range and uses more energy.
while the hybrid engine have gas as well its a extremely bad excuse.
there is actually no excuse to use regular li-ion batteries in these PHEV as a result and all PHEV should in fact be using LIFEPO4.
NO excuses. I did my research already.

Tesla makes batteries for 130-140 per kwhr meaning these shouldn't cost more than
20 x 135= 2700 for the battery itself + if they use lifepo4 lets double the price.then max should be 5400.

and the price of these batteries are depreciating already making it lose 50% of its battery value already without even being used.
So these EV are priced 10-12k higher they should in fact be worth 5-6k less right now. or 34-35k for the PHEV before tax credit.
they waited far too long to sell it and clear inventory.

Also the fact that they didn't make a device to test the cells to replace only the cell that needs to be replaced instead of the whole battery pack is unnerving.
The design I already drew up in my head. They have no excuse to not make it work.
They all suck useless engineers that want to fake supply shortages.

I actually posted this. Thought it was a good deal. Thought I'd share. The hybrid is over priced though.
