In general, yes. Well, maybe not on the biggest, highest wattage/BTU burners, but a lot less power consumption.

I also have the Secura and it's awesome—no temperature control, but double walled and keeps the water hot for quite a while. I've had it about 6 years.

The appeal is the stainless steel interior which for electric kettles is rare. So yes you're paying a premium.

Definitely not a buy at high price but for $30+tax, I would buy 1 since the design is modern and look nice in my kitchen setup.
