The frequency is similar but it has a different movement pattern (circular oscillation rather than simple vibration). Also, greater amplitude (the amount of which is determined by the brush mode). I don't love Sonicare but the iO is great. It's a different feel.
ONE Oral-B Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush (excludes Kids Variants, Pro 500 and Vitality) AND ONE Oral-B Replacement Brush Heads 3ct or greater (excludes Precision clean 5ct or greater and travel/trial size).
You have to include a 3cts brush heads, NO GO for me then.

that's due to plaque buildup from brushing your teeth. it's advised to remove the brush head and rinse after every brushing or at least once a day to keep the plaque from building up
