Anyway, I've seen this labeler pop up before for similar price. Labels themselves cost about twice as much as normal printer labels, and prints somewhat fuzzy, but worth it for convenience factor?
Edit: just price compared, a standard Brother label printer costs ~2x upfront BUT the labels themselves are much much cheaper, and no foreign app needed, so for that reason, I'm out.
Thanks for your info and support.
And the compatible tape ($12, 26ftx4): https://www.amazon.com/Replacemen...B0
The continuous tape available for this Phomemo printer gives you about half as much for twice the cost from quick math, so Brother is at least 4 times cheaper.
I'd also count on the Brother supplies being available longer than a smaller brand's.

For making plain old labels I think a non-connected label maker is better since it doesn't depend on a manufacturer updating apps or staying in business. For making labels with graphics I'd pay more for a known brand that let's my device process and transmit the graphics without going through a 3rd party server.

So with P Touches the software is designed to waste tape.
It cuts about 3/4" from the end of print, it feeds about 3/4 before print, it has character limits so you can't just type out all you want at once, etc.
Now I assume the tape is STILL cheaper with P touches, but it does waste an ass ton. I wish someone made a knock off that uses their tape but doesn't have garbage programmed into the IC.
Note: I would never buy this cheap one here due to when they go under you have no tape and now have a brick.

That one doesn't let you type from your phone. But this one does. It's $38. Not on sale, but perhaps the end game if you actually use a labeler a lot.

OP's labeler is fine, and a cheap way to figure out your needs.
Disclaimer: I do not own either of the mentioned labelers though I ordered both of them just now . I've only owned older non-wireless labelers.
The draw isn't as strong in the usa, because most people like safety & security of working for a boss / paying into 401k and social security.

All you have to do is know how to grab it. See, I know how to grab it.
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays everybody!!
Never mind, it's working now.

Why so evil atttitude ?

I was merely pointing out in a joking way that OP contributes a huge amount.
And my subsequent discussion of the product is the whole point of this website and why I love it: we are looking for the highest quality at the best price (value is not the same as cheap).
Once I've spent time researching something, I share my findings so others can save their time, as a lot of us do on these forums. Sometimes, I am wrong and get corrected, and I appreciate that very much as well.
Careful shopping is not a bad or "evil" attitude, it prevents wasteful consumerism. I buy Chinese products like this one often, just not this time.
