Most of the reviews on their website are from people who got it for free. Be careful with cheap brushes. The wire bristles like to fall out on some.

Use common sense and you won't need to worry. This has been an issue ever since people started using wire brushes to clean grills, and that's been a LONG time. When I was a kid 30 years ago, there would be metal wires left after using the brush, but then I'd use the plastic side to brush afterwards and they would be gone. Even better, if you want to oil/season your grates do so with a rag, for added peace of mind. While this could happen, the issue has been around for decades, and has a simple solution. This is social media, fear driven click bait, and I guess common sense no longer prevails.

These are low, low prices for grill brushes; slick if you don't mind store pickup.

Cool! I can clean my grill and give it a shiny protective coat, all at the same time. đŸ˜†

There's a reason these are cheap. They do t make them anymore for grills. Good for removing rust…

Weird Slickdeals doesn't like umich.

The bristles break off on to grill. Then get stuck to food. Then get stuck in your air way resulting in infection. A few kids died.

Edit:

You may just have to copy and paste link or search Google. Slickdeals is trying to hide the truth!!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good grill brush? Don't have to be the cheapest, but I would always prefer a buy it for life item.

I did the anesthesia for a case where a person had surgery to remove one of these bristles from his small intestine (it had pierced through causing peritonitis). He ate the burgers at someone else's house. The common sense thing to do is to not buy these brushes when there are alternatives.

I know I'm echoing the same thing that's being said, but I'll never buy a wire brush again.

I used to use one until a bristle got stuck in my mouth past my tongue. I was lucky it was far enough up to get out myself, but after that I immediately threw my brush away.

No matter how cheap, I would never use these again. Please do yourself and your families a favor and don't buy these
