If picking up in store I recommend checking the box to make sure it's sealed with tape, the one I originally picked up had the tape ripped and the battery was missing, they replaced it without a problem though and the replacement had a battery. I'd say a employee kept the battery.

I just checked google to see if it was a legit site cuz I've never ordered from them and the reviews of their sight are horrible. Sounds like a nightmare with a lot of bait and switches on products ect.

I know this isn't going to be similar to some people but the alligator lopper has been exceptional for us. After 10 years of use, I wouldn't ever go with anything else. We have 200ft of extension just for this item. I see they have battery operated versions now. Id say look into these

Rual King is legit. I've been to two of their stores and pricing is fair and they carry an interesting variery of things. Sort of a Farm Store/ Kmart vibe. This is a great deal and my first time ordering online so hopefully it is a good first experience. In for one.
