Timing: Promotion starts at 9:00 a.m. ET December 22, 2023 and ends at 5:00 p.m. ET on February 15, 2024.
PRIZES -
(1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the following: (i) one home located in St. Augustine, Florida that is featured on the Websites (including home furnishings, fixtures, artwork, and merchandise) (approximate retail value: $ 2,069,595); (ii) a credit in the amount of $70,000 valid only for Grand Prize Winner's choice of a Mercedes-Benz brand vehicle and (iii) One $100,000 presented in the form of a check. Actual value of HGTV Dream Home 2024 depends on market fluctuations. ARV of total Grand Prize: $ 2,239,595.

In lieu of taking title to the HGTV® Dream Home 2024 (and the contents of the HGTV® Dream Home 2024), the Grand Prize Winner will have the option of receiving $650,000 in cash (the "Cash Option"). If the Grand Prize Winner cannot take possession of the HGTV® Dream Home 2024 due to a force majeure event, failure of construction, or any other reason as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, Grand Prize Winner shall receive the Cash Option. Total ARV of the Grand Prize is $820,000 if Grand Prize Winner selects the Cash Option in lieu of the HGTV® Dream Home 2024.

Wow, thanks for the info. This is insane that they didn't secure the proper permits. I hope they don't have to tear down this gorgeous property.
