I bought this for BF from Walmart and returned it right away. I love subwoofers, but this one is too much for the sound bar—they just don't seem to work all that well together. The max volume isn't all that loud.
I have a 24" Vizio sound bar that puts it to shame in terms of loudness, sound quality.
Either way, worth a try if you might have a different experience/opinion than mine. But, for me, it was a clear no-go.
PS: I don't get the downvotes to this comment. I'm just sharing my experience for those wondering.
I bought this on the last $50 deal. I read the reviews and the warnings and I just had to find out. I was a little upset with myself that I opened this the night before recycling pickup and got rid of the box. I might have returned it. A pair of inexpensive bookshelf speakers would have been better in almost every respect. The sub isn't really a sub. I don't know that it's actually capable of sub-bass. It's more like a mid-range mud-box. The bar itself isn't terrible, except that there is no mids. It might as well be filled with tweeters. Honestly if your expectations are low, and the audio you currently have is not usable - this does get the job done, it's just not a high-fidelity experience.
It is refurbished and sold directly by Vizio, you get free returns, and it comes with a 2-year warranty—longer than new products' 1-year.
There is also an SB362An-F46 2.1 sound bar for $55. But it's a little older, so it might be missing some features compared to the above. (https://www.ebay.com/p/1604927654...4921227833)

These aren't the current prices on the Vizio bars, how are you getting these discounted prices?

Had this snd LOVED the sound, but had a delay using ARC that could never be fixed. Returned a got the V20-J8, which is shockingly good considering it is only 2.0.

Same experience. The audio quality is remarkably poor.
It's okay I bought both of mine on clearance for $10 and $30 respectively. It's not the best but you get what you pay for. I would wait and see if this gets cheaper before you purchase.
For $50 the sound experience isn't bad. People slamming this saying that it's poor quality, are expecting a Bose theater experience on a budget price tag.
I await the thumbs down.
The sound can be tweaked and also depends on the size room you're using this with. But feel free to continue the shame wagon

This thing sounds worse than my tv speakers. It's garbage and shouldn't even be sold. The only use case I could imagine is if someone was using a 20 year old 19" television. It really is that bad.
