Saw this at Home Depot by their holiday gift ideas table at the front of the store. Retail is $80.
On HD site, you have to add to cart to see price bc it's selling under manufacturer permitted retail.
Has a carbreduce option that seems to work but can't imagine it reduces the carbs by much.
fyi - Not a pressure cooker.
Hope this helps someone!

Looks like a good price, my local store says visit to purchase instead of online order.

Got this for my birthday, makes perfect rice everytime and could not be easier; has a nice keep-warm feature as well and the pot is very easy to clean.

If you are interested only in rice, amazon has famous one for 20 dollars. Makes it perfect as well.

No it's a Teflon non stick inside, comes with a plastic spoon/ mixer. Have had it a month since Black Friday. Really better than an instant pot at cooking rice

There's a button dedicated to rice on the instant pot. I guess you don't eat rice that often or don't even use the instant pot yourself either 😂

I use it to cook rice more than any other dish.

You should consider a higher end rice cooker like Zojirushi if you ever want to up your rice game. Not knocking the instantpot, just saying there's a whole other level to this game.

Elephant and tiger brands are on the heirloom level. Didn't instant pot go bankrupt already?

Everyone discussed about the price, but the taste of the cooking rice. This rice cooker is much better than other brands because the CarbReduce tech, which is steaming, not directly cooking. If you don't understand what am I saying, you are not frequently in kitchen

I bought my last rice cooker approximately 30 years ago for $229 (that is not an exaggeration we got it in 1993), and it recently stopped being able to keep the rice warm (would dry out the sides). I bought the new Zojirushi (msrp $800 or so, got on sale for $500). I would pay that every day of the week for 3 specific features not including that the rice does taste better and hold longer (sometimes 4-5 days).

1. There is no where for the rice to fall into the bottom and get stuck/burn up making it ultra easy to clean though I haven't had to because the pot design is better at keeping rice from falling into the cracks. It also doesn't have that contact point that cheap, non-induction rice cookers have that wears out the finish on the bottom of your pot (aesthetics).
2. The top plate is easily removable and very very easy to wash (or you can buy spares for about $40). No stupid gaskets to pull off etc.
3. The rice scoop has a flat bottom and can stand vertically on your flat top rice cooker (for the last 30 years, I just throw the scoop in the rice pot so I don't have to use a new one each time which is fairly unsanitary if you're that kind of person).

And the rice does taste better imo... we eat a lot of rice, 5 of 8 agree it tastes better, 3 can't discern a difference. If I get 10 years out of it, that's only $4 a month. Sometimes the better "deal" is the better piece of equipment at a higher price.

Oh one negative, my Zojirushi does periodically make an electric buzzing sound that you can hear over a refigerator hum. I don't know if its defective or a "feature", haven't gotten around to contacting tech support.

I don't even use the rice button. Rice in a pressure cooker is very easy. For white rice you cook for 3 minutes let it natural release for 10 to 15. 1:1 rice to water ratio. Perfect every time and faster. Even faster for harder to cook rice like brown or black.

I use it so much that I got rid of my large rice maker and now I have two instant pots. They're a lot more versatile.

I can't speak to what he has, but I have had the Neuro Fuzzy for awhile now and it's amazing.
