With in 2 years, ice maker slowed down. Freezer froze up, freezer door track needed replacing, water dispenser actuator died. Cause 2 year Costco warranty, they keep fixing it, but it is a regret buy

I bought this 2 years ago & have had the complete opposite experience. No issues whatsoever with this fridge. We left it on the default setting of 4 for the freezer & fridge. No problems with freezing up or anything else. You probably just got a bad one. We've been extremely happy with our purchase.

I've got two buddies with this fridge and same issues. Doesn't regulate temp well and they regretted the water dispenser location. Have to open the fridge to get water rather than a quick tap on the front. I don't think that's anything major other than it could possibly not be as energy efficient.

The vegetable drawer track just broke on mine after about a year. It's just a plastic part that falls apart. Trying to get it replaced now

Cheap plastic junk inside. Noisy. Other than that it's a great refrigerator. I have the one with ice and water in the door and I paid $100 less for it. If you're going to buy this refrigerator, I would not hesitate to get an extended warranty because you're going to need it.

We have had this since 2019. My only complaint is the compressor is sometimes loud and a door alarm would be nice if the kids didn't close it all the way. Other than that it works fine. There is a YouTube appliance repair guy that says this is his choice if he was to buy a French door fridge.

Whirlpool has an alarmingly high number of complaints regarding noisy compressors across their fridges. The Embraco compressors they use aren't the greatest…the one in my Whirlpool died after 6 years.

Literally just got this fridge from a friend a few days ago, they sold their house and didn't want it and the buyer didn't want it either and is was in their basement and I put it in my garage. I really like it as a fridge, it is nice and wide open up top but I am not a fan of where the freezer is, if that was my main fridge I would hate it. The little arm on the ice maker is broken and in the down position and I have to figure out how to disconnect it since that isn't hooked up anyway. I have thermometers in both sections and they both seem to be working fine and cooling and freezing correctly. Any part should be easy to replace because the movers took off all the doors to move it and then put them back on when they brought it here.
