FWIW, Secondipity sells both retail returns and manufacturer refurbs. TV's can be hit or miss, but XM4's and XM5's I purchased from them were Sony refurbs and indistinguishable from brand new other than the fact that they arrived in brown boxes rather than standard packaging.
