Got this and the spinner wheel for a millisecond didn't turn and the entire base broke while being dragged. Beware.

Samsonite is garbage and their warranty is useless as to be non-existent.

Travelpro is usually on those "best luggage" lists. Personally, I just go with whatever set is available from Costco, which tends to be Samsonite anyway, but because of Costcos return policy, should something happen.

27" is huge, 30" is monstrous. Having both seems like overkill. If you fill a 27" suitcase, you'll probably end up over the 50 lb limit for most carriers. The 30" will violate both dimension and weight limitations.

Unfortunately, 22" is also an inconvenient size (for most). A 22" is a bit too big to qualify as a carry-on for every airline I'm aware of. That'll get flagged by pretty much every international and U.S. budget airline as being too big. I travel multiple times a month and haven't had many issues using my 21" Samsonite as a carry-on on non-budget U.S. airlines... but even that is technically much bigger than the stated allowable carry-on size (i.e., what will fit in their little carry-on baskets by baggage drop-off).

I would suggest to anyone to check local Marshalls and Ross for suitcases. I got Samsonite ones there for a third of the price as any retailer. The name itself of the suitcase will be different than what's available online but it's the same specs
