We got one also. Total trash. Returned it. Great exercise though, going over one little hair six hundred times to suck it up. Even then I don't think it sucked it up. Pretty sure it just got caught on a loose piece of plastic
Good for kids I'm sure... half the kids ones that don't actually work are 30 alone.
