Not refurbished but new open box. Very decent deal for Dyson v11 for those who missed the target price match deal with QVC.

Edit: Forgot to mention that it comes with a 2 year Dyson warranty.

V12 has smaller tank and is at least $100 more than V11. The V15 is at least $200 more than V11. All for the price of a little green LED.
YMMV
How do we find this out
It's a laser. Not an LED. Displays exactly what is on your floor from the level of the floor. You see every particle of dust and everything else. For hardwood or tile only, the V12 is best. Light as a toy and the only one that uses an on/off button so you don't get trigger-fatigue. For carpet and floors, V15 is the best since the motor is bigger and it has the laser.

Have had the v11 since it came out. The laser head is actually interchangeable - I bought one for v12 from dyson.com and it works fine on my v11.
And yes I recently replaced the trigger. There are numerous YouTube video walkthroughs. Fairly simple if you are semi handy. Bought a metal trigger off temu so it'd probably last a lifetime, or at least until the battery trigger gets busted by the metal trigger lol.
The "Animal" model usually has extra accessories for cleaning pet hairs.

How much did the v12 head cost?
You can find maybe the motor head from those models instead of the entire system
They all use the same connectors but the battery might take a toll since certain power heads tools weren't tested with the smaller amp hour batteries of the earlier models and the newer v12and v15 have variable motor speeds to give more runtime but all the older ones will just give full amperage whether you need it or not which can drain it faster; it isn't a deal breaker but a laser could change how you use it since i believe it isn't a passive laser or it doesn't timeout but is only on when the motor is on which doesn't allow the end user to see where to clean the heaviest first before actually vacuuming
