New system might be out in 2024. I would buy a switch but the games cost $60 for old a$$ games. Come on now. Mario kart should not be $60. Controller is $70. Too expensive.

They have a ton of cheaper games as well. It's just the latest games are overpriced at $60. All gaming platforms have overpriced controllers, It's crazy. Personally, I think the Switch isn't all that great but I enjoy it as it is basically the last stand-alone console that doesn't require you to be online for 99% of the games. I'm starting to think that our Xbox doesn't play games at all, it just downloads updates for hours each day. Maybe the PS5 is better IDK.

132 million consoles sold, by far the most sold of current gen systems.
I agree they're too expensive but they're doing more than fine with their pricing strategy

that's up to you. do you want a Nintendo console and Nintendo games? If so, Switch is your only choice.Nice thing about Steamdeck is access to cheap games. There are sales all the time, humble and other bundles. No monthly subscription fee for online play or cloud saves.
