5 is the best looking game and painstakingly accurate to Montana, both in environments and ..uum.. culture. The only reason I rank 4 above 5 is I was a little disappointed with the story.
Far cry 3 is good, but lacks any of the quality of life improvements or side stuff added in the sequels.
Far cry 6 is best forgotten, Ubisoft greed jumped the shark, all the environments are procedurally generated and look awful, the story is shallow trash and all the side quests revolve around loot box dlc.

I pay monthly regardless but I work in VR and feel better about supporting someone doing the devil's work for all of use because these big companies couldn't be bothered to add the functionality which would dramatically increase their sales to a new audience: VR users (even if they've played the game before). We all know they aren't allergic to money but when it comes to VR, they sure act like it.

I would forgo 6 altogether. I'm a fan of the series, but 6 felt like the hollow shell of a game. Shallow and uncompelling characters, shitty story, and boring, easy, repetitive gameplay. I wish I could go back in time and unplay it. By far the worst game in the series, and the kind of game that just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

The Big bads for 3 and 4 are top tier… Primal was so different and good.
