This or Bauer from HF.
Depends on how hard you plan to work the tool, how often, and your budget. If lighter or less frequent use, then also look at Rigid, Ryobi, or Porter Cable, maybe Craftsman also but I haven't used them for several years now. Heavy use I'd look Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, Bosch, Panasonic, Festool. For lighter use the 12v tools are great in many brands. I personally have Milwaukee 18 and 12v and my friend has Dewalt 20v and Milwaukee 12v. We both tend to use the 12v much more because it's smaller and lighter and still has plenty of power for most jobs. We are moderate users. We only have the bigger stuff because we bought into those ecosystems many years ago. My oldest m18 tools are well over 10yrs old and still fine. Batteries are now weaker but it's been 10+ years. Bauer may work, but don't abuse them as much or expect super long life from them. Batteries in particular are going to be a lot lower quality than the big names which also means shorter life span.

Don't use the $25 discount. I received my order today, with no tool. I was told that their system wouldn't stack deals, and removed it. I was not notified at time of purchase, and was nit offered any recourse, so I requested a refund. They did quickly send a shipping label, but I find this practice unacceptable. They wasted my time, and tied up my money. Not a company I will deal with in the future. I hope others have better experiences.

Use TOOLGUYD to get an extra $10 off, it appears to stack with the Dewalt promo. Also, if that doesn't work, the $10 first order (random code I think) works too

Got 2 sets, one with the 5/8" rotary hammer and the other with the reciprocating saw, both for under $360 shipped. Thanks!
That code does not stack.

Yeah it appears that they fixed it sometime after I placed my order and wrote that, unfortunately. And now it sounds like they aren't honoring this deal even without it.

I seriously hope this isn't how they expect to handle all such orders, or they're going to be giving a lot of money back and wasting more of it on return shipping

this item is now back ordered and will probably take 2 to 3 weeks to fulfil. if you're not in a rush to get this stuff now, you can still place orders

Have a naive question - what's the difference between 5.0 Ah and 2.5Ah? Bought a drill + impact from Lowe's for 149 with bag and (2) batteries but the ah was 2.5 ah

Ah is "amp hours". It's a measure of charge capacity calculated as the available current (amps) the battery is expected to provide for a full hour at the rated voltage. Higher numbers mean higher capacity. So, a 5Ah battery would have more charge capacity than a 2.5Ah one. Actual runtime is going to vary based largely on load, among other things.

Did anyone that ordered get a 6 and 4 ah instead of 2 5ah?

I placed my order on 12/27 and received it 1/4. Everything was in there as expected (two 5 ah batteries, charger, bag, and the free tool- jigsaw). Pleasant surprise was the charger was the newer dcb-1104 not the dcb-115 I was expecting. Got it all for $179.61 with tax (I did stack a sign up for texts $10 code). Good deal thanks OP

I got bit on this too. I was waiting for my free tool, thinking I got a great deal with the tool AND $25 off. When I called they confirmed the $25 off doesn't stack and it knocked off the free tool promo. They were nice enough to send a return shipping label without too much fuss, so sending this one back. I'll have to pay closer attention next time.
