These single tower coolers are fine for i3/i5 or ryzen 3/5. For the 7/9 series, you really ought to get dual tower. The Peerless Assassin is like $40, and idCooling also makes a fantastic one for the same price, dual tower and 7 pipe (se-207-xt). Honestly, for the 7800x3d, I would strongly suggest the best air cooler made, the Noctua D15, but it's significantly more expensive and some cases don't have the room for it.
The similar Assassin King model (5 heat pipes instead of this one's 4 pipes) is $16.99.

I still don't understand how Thermalright manage to make money out of their products, they are petty good at reasonable price, imagine Ngreedia suddenly making coolers and charge $30 more for every extra heatpipe lol, I'm glad they didn't manage to put their duty hands on ARM :V

The last three coolers I've purchased have been Thermalright models. No complaints yet. This particular one is a no brainer if you are still using a stock cooler.

Hope your kidding ?#$@
I put a ID-COOLING SE-207-XT Slim on my I7-12700KF and am considering a twin tower 2 Fan model now. (the one I have is single fan). You should be looking at at least a DeepCool AK620 or Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 CPU Air Cooler, 7 Heat pipes CPU Cooler.

The ID-COOLING FROZN A620 Black Dual-Tower CPU Air Cooler is another option I'm considering

This model tested similarly to the Assassin Spirit but has a worse contact plate.

Legit question, how is the FROZN A620 better than the Thermalight Peerless Assassin SE120

Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB CPU Air Cooler, 6 Heat Pipes CPU Cooler, Dual 120mm TL-C12C-S PWM Fan, Aluminium Heatsink Cover, AGHP Technology, for AMD AM4/AM5 Intel 1700/115X/1200 https://a.co/d/hB9zMqx

Probably not allot better it's just a more modern design ...more like a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 CPU Air Cooler, 6 Heat Pipes, Dual 120mm TL-C12B > https://www.amazon.com/Thermalrig...=1-12&th=1
or the DeepCool AK620

If you go by the few reviews of it it seems pretty good

The heatsink arrived well-packaged with its protections and all its accessories. I tested it with a Ryzen 7 5700X, reaching a maximum of 64°C (147°F) in Cinebench (multicore) with an ambient temperature of 30°C (86°F). With all its cores running at 4.5 GHz, the fans, operating on a balanced curve, reached a maximum of 1750 RPM with an acceptable noise level during the test.

Anyone who's looking at this model should instead get the RGB version for $17.59 (same link/same Amazon page). Paying an extra $0.60 for 20-30% performance gains on your CPU is a no brainer.
