Depends on a number of factors including when the refresh model goes on sale-- so far in the overseas places it has gone on sale price has been higher than the outgoing model, so no reason to suspect that won't be true in the US either.
(there's also always the chance Tesla finds a way to bring back the credits for the models losing it- as they did this year a couple of weeks after losing it.

For clarity it'll still be available on the Performance trim of the 3, just not the two lower ones

I wonder if they will just switch to the lease option to allow people to get the 7500 credit, like Hyundai & others do right now. Maybe Tesla will start offering buyouts instead to reducing prices outright.

Offering buyout through lease for those non eligible models would be a logical move to keep the market share.

if they let you buyout after lease of in half way of the lease, that would be great, cause not everyone gets 7500, i for one as long as i m not getting the tax credit, i would not buy tesla or any ev.

Yup depends on how the rules are changing for credits. If the lease loophole will work in 24 or not

no tax credit in 2024, and will be the obsolete/old/dated model as the better/improved look/build/etc (except no stalks) Highland model will be available in the USA in 2024.
So its hard to predict what will happen.

Who wants a dated tesla for new price--get the highland. No tax credit?

I see tesla "discounting" the current aka old model 3, of $7500 from msrp/list. While selling the highland model 3 at list/msrp.

What about the robotaxi fleet? If they offer lease buyouts where will that come from?

Isn't that the reason behind no lease buyouts? They will use lease turn ins for the fleet.

If somebody is still looking for Model 3, Tesla is starting selling Highland at same price, no tax credit available though.
