These are far superior to the Milwaukee spade bits. The 1" Milwaukee bit took about 40 seconds (of HARD pressing) to drill though 3/4" plywood. My friend let me borrow her Diablo bit and it zipped through in less than 10 seconds.
This was for a project that needed over 40 holes drilled so the time saving was enormous. 👍🏻👍🏻
Same user, different bits = different results.

100% logic error.
The 14 set is 20, it's cheaper than the 16 set at 22. I assume you are asking why per bit it's cheaper for the 22?

The 14 set is actually a 13 + 1 set. It's 13 Speed demon + 1 demo demon bit. Demo demon bits are usually (at least) double the price of Speed demons (comparing same at identical bit size) since they are rated for nail embedded and non-clean wood. (I find them also better for hardwoods.)

This 16 piece regular price is only $22. Is there a reason the regular price of the 14 piece is more expensive than the set below?

The 10pc is cheaper per bit vs the 14pc. Is the 14pc worth the extra $$$?

That honestly sounds like a dull bit. Even cheap Irwin paddle bits go through plywood pretty easily. Diablo and Milwaukee are great bits though.

They are different bits (SPEEDemon) but I am not sure I understand the differences

No joke it was the first time I used that Milwaukee bit 😅
I have so many of their great tools but the spade drill bits are probably the biggest disappointment in my opinion 😭

Thanks OP, the little case is a nice bonus and I've always had solid experience with Diablo bits/blades.

How do these compare to the Spyder spade bits that were released a few years back? Those things were the best I had ever used at the time.

I have no idea what the 14 count has... description has part numbers instead of sizes. Looks like it has a 1 1/8th and the 10 piece stops at 1... does it go bigger?

I hate having to use a hole saw...

Do these bits actually chew/cut through nails then? That's pretty amazing if so!

Provided you have an appropriately powerful driver/drill, then yes. Also provided it's a normal nail used in typical construction - not something weird like tungsten or like a railroad track spike.
