I bought this when it was like $24 a couple months back. Seems fine. I'd buy another just for a filter but I'm probably good for a few months hopefully it will go on sale again.
Looks like all the other Mac Pro style purifiers i have the levoit one and works ok it's a fan With filter media around it and it does get really dusty over time
