In my monthly ad book that I get mailed which contains many local deals and coupons i always see the deal on 4x8 racks , they are 300 for one or 549 for two installation included.

I had this same product installed through safe racks last week. I bought the product + installation pack. They charged me $599. At that point the Costco price was $399. Saferack charges $149 a piece for installation so the price would've been $697 total, so it was a no brainer to buy from Saferack directly.

Now considering the product price is $300 and another $298 for installation would take it to $598 which is same as the Saferack product + installation pricing. But the accessory pack that comes with Costco purchase is a bonus. That pack is $60 I believe, you may not need all those 18 pieces. I bought 2-piece hook for $20.

Something I noticed while buying from Saferack, there was no tax. That was a surprise especially for a purchase in CA.

So buying from Costco - $300(product) + $300(installation to be paid to Saferack installer) + $30 (approx tax) = $630(you get $60 worth of accessories).
Buying from Saferack - $599(Product + installation)

Bought during the pandemic. I have a weird garage ceiling (12 feet in some places and 11'9" in others) in the install area over where I park my cars, and no way would I have the patience to try to make it level. I found an installer through SafeRacks, and he had them up within a few hours. Well worth the installation price (I think $285 for both).

Great place to store seasonal items and things we use literally once or twice a year. With the included hooks, I hang my 8-foot ladder (which I use to get stuff up/down), multiple golf bags, multiple golf push carts, four pairs of snow skis, fertilizer spreader, and electric dethatcher.

It definitely made my garage go from super cluttered to ... kind of cluttered.

The ceiling is not plain. It has some weird brush steoke structure like popcorn ceiling. So, difficult to use the stud finder

To compare, the rack + accessories with saferacks = $299.98 (someone mentioned they don't charge tax)
Costco with included accessories = $323.99 with my taxes included.
Saferacks is the way with or without accessories

Thanks for the info! I cancelled my Costco order and purchased them from saferacks.com for $270.54 and saved an additional $46.25. This included free shipping.
